The spokesperson to Adegboyega Oyetola, the immediate past governor of Osun State, Ismail Omipidan, has described the claim that the outgone administration employed 12,000 workers as not only false but unfounded.
The Osun Governor, Ademola Adeleke and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state has continually claimed that the Adegboyega Oyetola administration illegally employed 12,000 workers into the state civil service.
Omipidan in a statement made available to journalists in Osogbo on Monday challenged the Government to publish the list of the purported 12, 000 workers.
"What is the entire workforce of the State?
"Once a lie is told, you need a one and thousand lies to cover it up.
"In no distant future, the people of Osun will know who the real liars are," Omipidan reminded the government.
In an Executive Order issued on Monday, Adeleke had declared all appointments and employments after July 17, 2022, as nullified.
