PZ Cussons Nigeria Plc has appointed Panagiotis Katsis as its Chief Executive Officer and he will replace Christos Giannopoulos.
The firm disclosed this to the Nigerian Stock Exchange while adding that Katsis’ appointment as CEO will be effective from July 1, 2020.
The firm expresses deep gratitude to the former CEO, Giannopoulos for his service over the years.
Giannopoulos joined PZ Cussons United Kingdom in July 1988. He has an undergraduate degree from the University of Derby and from 1988, has served the company in various roles and functions across the business before rising to the position of Chief Executive Officer in Nigeria in 2009.
Meanwhile, the newly appointed Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Katsis, joined the PZ Cussons Group in 1998 and has worked in various senior roles which include Commercial, Deputy Managing Director, PZ Cussons Nigeria Plc. He has been the Managing Director, HPZ/TEC since 2018.
