Qualcomm Technologies Inc. has introduced the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 and Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 mobile platforms, which will power the next generation of premium and high-tier Android smartphones.

Snapdragon 8+, Qualcomm's newest flagship platform, is a premium-tier powerhouse that delivers power and performance improvements for the maximum boost across all on-device experiences.

Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 Mobile Platform, provides the greatest boost across all on-device experiences and allows customers to play all day.

Leading worldwide OEMs and brands like ASUS ROG, Black Shark, HONOR, iQOO, Lenovo, Motorola, Nubia, OnePlus, OPPO, OSOM, Realme, RedMagic, Redmi, Vivo, Xiaomi, and ZTE will use Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, with commercial devices due in Q3 2022.

The Snapdragon 7 brings a range of high-end, in-demand features and technology to a wider audience around the world.

Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 will bring a selection of high-end, in-demand features and technologies to more people around the world, like epic mobile gaming, high-speed connectivity, intelligent entertainment, and larger-than-life capture.

Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 will be adopted by leading global OEMs and brands including HONOR, OPPO, and Xiaomi, with commercial devices expected to be available in Q2 2022.
