The family of late Nollywood star Rachel Oniga has announced the burial of the deceased actress.
According to the deceased son, Tunji Oniga, the family has set August 26th and 27th, 2021 for her funeral. He stated this in a telephone interview with the Nigerian News Agency (NAN) in Lagos on Wednesday.
Her wake keep will be held at her home in Magodo, Lagos State, on August 26. On the 27th of August, she will be laid to rest in a cemetery that the family did not disclose.
Speaking on his mother's passing, Tunji said: ”I'm shocked by my mother's death; in fact, I don't believe she's gone. The reality dawns on me when I hear her phone ring and she is not available to answer it."

He described her as a philanthropist who was always concerned about the welfare of others.
Rachel Oniga, 64, died on July 30th after a long battle with an undisclosed health issue. She was born in Ebute Meta, Lagos State, on May 23, 1957.
Oniga has been in a number of prominent Nigerian films, including Wale Ogunyemi's "Sango," which was produced and directed by Obafemi Lasode, and Wale Adenuga's Super Story television series.
