Shortly after the death of veteran actress, Rachel Oniga, was announced, rumours spread that she died of Covid-19 complications.
However, an official statement released on her Instagram page by her family revealed that the veteran actress died of health-related issues which she battled for a short period before her demise.
The family demands privacy as a 'deep sense of respect for her soul and the glorious life she lived'
The statement also said that further burial arrangements will be announced to the public in due time.
