Rahama Sadau's Photos: IGP Orders Kaduna CP To Take Action

Following controversies triggered by Kannywood actress Rahama Sadau who shared a photo in backless gown, the inspector-general of police (IGP), Mohammed Adamu, has asked the Kaduna state commissioner of police,Umar Muri, to address the matter.

This was contained in a letter signed by Idowu Owohunwa, the principal staff officer to the IGP.

The letter referenced a petition sent to the police IG by a man identified as Lawal Gusau.

"Sir, I am writing to inform you that Rahama Sadau a Kannywood actress through her controversial picture has angered many people and if not quickly looked into could degenerate into a serious crisis,” he said.

Adamu also directed Muri to “furnish him with updates accordingly and as well ensure that the development does not threaten public peace.

“I am to convey the Sir, I am writing to inform you that Rahama Sadau a Kannywood actress through her controversial picture has angered many people and if not quickly looked into could degenerate into a serious crisis,” he said. of the Inspector General of Police that you treat proactively with a view to ensuring that the development does not result in any act that could threaten public peace and security,” the letter read.

“The Inspector-General of Police further directs that you furnish him with updates accordingly.”

AllNews earlier reported that Sadau had shared a picture of hers, wearing a long pink gown that exposes her back, from her neck to the upper waist.

This did not sit well with the Arewa users who condemned her for "promoting indecent dressing" which is haram in Islam.
