Raising Local Awareness On Smart Technology, Digitalisation

Smart Technology and Digitalisation

Smart technology and digitalisation are transforming the way we live, work, and interact with each other.

Smart technology is making our lives easier and more efficient by automating mundane tasks and providing us with access to information and services at the touch of a button.

Digitalisation is making it easier to access and share data, collaborate with others, and create new products and services.

Smart technology and digitalisation are also changing the way businesses operate, allowing them to become more agile and efficient.

In Nigeria, a firm, Vertex Next (a subsidiary of Vertex Group), Asia’s greatest platform, is set to host highly anticipated events, ‘Power & Water Nigeria’ and ‘IoT West Africa’, scheduled for July 4 to 6, 2023.

The IoT Conference & Exhibition, which aimed to drive smart technology and pave the path to digitalisation, is scheduled to be held at Landmark Centre, Lagos.

Managing Director of Vertex Next, Shitij Taneja, who spoke on the occasion, stated: “The ever-evolving business environment and challenges call for technological transformation and digitally-reliant operating models.

“The comeback of IoT will allow innovators and experts to share expertise and emerging trends to mentor African technological transformation, making way for blockchain technology, big data, artificial intelligence and more.

“Our cutting-edge platforms are designed to ensure that the buying experience in the industry is fired up with learning experiences and provides quick access to the latest solutions in the sector.”

Key pioneer speakers expected at the conference and exhibition include Director-General/Chief Executive Officer (CEO), NITDA, Kashifu Inuwa Abdullahi; National Commissioner/CEO, NDPB, Vincent O. Olatunji. Head, Investment & Technology Promotion Office, UNIDO, Abimbola Olufore Wycliffe; Director of Strategy & Transformation Leader, 9Mobile, Karn Gulati; CTO, Spectranet, Nommy Paul, and Head of Startup Ecosystem, Africa, Google, Folarin Oreoluwa Aiyegbusi.

The events, according to Taneja, will be immersed with modernised and value-added discussions, exhibits and investment opportunities at IOT West Africa and Data Centres Live.

The IoT event will provide a platform for rising businesses to showcase their innovative ideas and cutting-edge solutions along with their experiences through keynote speeches, technical demos, webinars, panel discussions, and workshops by industry experts.

The attendees will be provided with the opportunity to gain valuable insights and knowledge on the latest trends and development in the field of IoT and future connectivity.

The three-day event will serve as an ideal podium for industry leaders, businesses, and startups to amplify opportunities, tract investments and drive the digital-economical-technological transformation for the region.

The participants can network with entrepreneurs, angel investors, and VCs to uplift businesses, and startups, create jobs and navigate the growth of the country.
