The Governor of Bauchi State, Bala Mohammed, has hosted Emirs and District Heads in the state to break their fasting.
The governor who returned from Abuja on Monday afternoon hosted the traditional rulers at the Banquet Hall of the state's Government House at night.
The governor appreciated them for their contributions that led to the peaceful conduct of the just-concluded general elections in the state.
He described them as critical stakeholders who work for the development of Bauchi state and Nigeria.
Bala further appealed to the traditional rulers to support him in his second tenure to consolidate on the gains recorded by his administration in the first tenure.
The governor further assured them of his administration's commitment to support them in the discharge of their duties effectively for the benefit of the people.
Also speaking on behalf of the traditional rulers, the Emir of Bauchi and Chairman Council of Emirs in the state, HRH Alhaji Rilwanu Adamu, appreciated the governor for hosting them to break their fast with him.
He further commended the governor for his contributions to the traditional institution to perform well, adding that they would continue to support the governor's good policies for the growth of the state.
