Rape: Uti’s Accuser Disappears

Big Brother Africa (BBA) season 5 winner, Uti Nwachukwu, has given an update on the sudden disappearance of a lady, Kambili Korie, who accused him of rape.

AllNews reports that Korie had taken to social media to accuse Uti of being a bisexual and raping her in 2017.

She also shared an alleged conversation that occurred between them, where the reality star apologized that he needed to act like a man that he is.

Reacting, the reality star also gave the alleged victim an ultimatum of three days to report the case to the police.

Uti also filed a petition with the Inspector General of Police Mohammed Adamu, stating that he finds it difficult to defend himself against someone he cannot identify.

However, giving an update in an Instagram post, Uti said: “I didn’t want to be speaking these unfortunate allegations again, but it’s also important that I update you all on recent developments.

"My accuser- whose account was created only recently to accuse me of this horrendous crime, has been deleted before investigators could identify her. This is unfortunate because it doesn’t fully exonerate me from the accusation the way the courts would have done; I REALLY needed the opportunity to prove my innocence and this culprit face the full penalties.

"However, I am still going to continue to work and cooperate with the police to get to the bottom of this.

"Victims of sexual abuse need to be heard and believed, and it’s why I will continue to pursue this to prevent anyone else from making it even harder from victims to speak out.
