Rather Than Gambling, Do ‘Yahoo Yahoo’ — Seun Kuti

Seun Kuti has stated that he advises young Africans to engage in internet fraud rather than gambling.

The singer claimed in a video posted online that while he doesn't vilify gamblers as he believes that anyone who partakes in the activity has already lost.

According to him, being an internet fraudster is better than gambling since one is in charge of it.

Kuti mentioned that no one is concerned about gambling because it is a white man's business.

He continued by saying that those who once opposed gambling are now the ones advocating for it.

“I'll never be the one to say that you are a bad person for gambling.

"But I'm just begging young Africans, your greatness doesn't lie in all these,” Kuti said.

“Yes they have diminished us, they've made us feel like if you don't own anything if you cannot afford it, women won't look your face.

"Even you as a woman will not be able to catch a better man.

“I understand but please not by gambling. Because you've lost already. It's a setup. Do the one that you are in control of.

“I prefer ‘yahoo yahoo’ to gambling. Do ‘yahoo yahoo’ rather than this gambling shit.

“But you see this gambling, you are rigged. But nobody will say anything to you.

"Just the way alcohol is ruining our life in Africa. Alcohol is a white man's business.

“When we were young, the same ones that were telling us gambling is bad are the ones doing endorsements for gambling. Because gambling is now a white man's business.

“All these gambling firms you are seeing are white man's business.

“Here to extract the little that we have in our pocket through the gambling platforms. Selling you false hopes.”
