The Toyota RAV4 is a compact crossover (SUV) sport utility vehicle which was first released in 1994.
The company made the announcement in a news release on Wednesday while revealing sales, production, and export results for March 2021 as well as the cumulative total from January to April 2021, and the fiscal year from April 1, 2020, to March 31, 2021, including those for subsidiaries Daihatsu Motor Co., Ltd. and Hino Motors, Ltd.

In March 2021, Toyota recorded worldwide sales of 982,912 (44.2), Daihatsu 84,894(3,6) and Hino 16,999(8.3), a total of 1,084,805 (39.2) for the month.
For the carmaker, this is the seventh consecutive month of increased worldwide sales and the sixth consecutive month of increased Sales inside of Japan (incl. mini vehicles),
From January to March 2021, total worldwide sales was 2,708,270 (16.9%), while worldwide production for the period was 2,658,698(10.8).
