Real Madrid World Cup Winning Goalkeeper, Iker Casillas has officially retired from playing football. He retired from Porto after five seasons at the Portuguese Club adding the Primera Liga and Portuguese Super Cup to his hosts of trophies. He retires at age 39.
AllNews understands that It is a loss to football to see a legend hangs his gloves but we might not have seen the last of Casillas yet, with AllNews reporting earlier of an appointment at the Spanish capital club, Real Madrid giving the Spaniard an appointment in a managerial role.

The 39-year old left-footed goalkeeper has 25 trophies in his illustrious career which he spent most of at Madrid. He is a very healthy individual with just three cases of injury across over 23 years of career. He signed for Real Madrid C on the 1st of July 1996 and has then developed gradually through the ladder till he could play for the first team in July 1999. He had 725 appearances with just 1 red card.
He has won a World Cup, European Championship (twice), UEFA Champions League (3), Club World Cup, UEFA Super Cup, La Liga Santander (5). He has won all relevant cups a player will want to win in his career.
He has won more than 20 individual and collective titles in a span of 20 years; almost a title per season, with numerous records breaking accomplishments.
He takes his leave now and football will forever remember the GREAT IKER CASILLAS.
