Real Madrid Announces That Its Club Members And Supporters N

Real Madrid calls on its members and supporters no to gather in Cibeles, or anywhere to celebrate should they win the La Liga title in their next match.

The Spanish club called out on Wednesday morning for fans to follow the coronavirus protocol of social distancing and not allow the celebration of the title should in case they win it to cloud their judgment.

Real Madrid is currently at the top of the table with 4 points and head to head win. La Liga is due to finish on 19th of July 2020 with the game against Leganes but to win the La Liga title before the end they need to win against Villarreal at the Santiago Bernabeu on 16th of July. Mathematically, they can still lose the trophy if they draw the last two games.

The Real Madrid tweeted on Monday morning reason behind their plead to their fans to avoid gathering to celebrate the win.

The game against Villarreal would not be easy for the Los Blancos with the yellow submarines chasing the qualification for UEFA Champions League and only a win in the next two would possibly give them that or even drop from 5th where they qualify for the Europa League with Getafe trailing with 3 points behind.

The last game against Leganes also is a Madrid derby with the Los Pepineros just some kilometres outskirts of Madrid. The match would be what stands between Leganes and relegation. We could see a very tougher game for Madrid than the ones they have played before now.
