Real Madrid Crowned Champions Of Spain For The 34th Time In

The Spanish capital club, Real Madrid has been crowned champions of Spain after they overtake the eternal rivals, Barcelona after the league restarted back in June to win the Spanish cup for the 34th time in their history.

The match at the Bernabeu against Villarreal was the icing on the cake for the Los Blancos who was leading the table with 4 points and now mathematically they are the champions of Spain.

This is the second time Zidane will be winning the Spanish Cup for Real Madrid as a manager. The club would not be able to celebrate the victory due to the coronavirus protocols and would use social media and other platforms to rejoice with their fans.

Real Madrid edged past Villarreal when Karim Benzema score with just 29 minutes on the clock in the first half to hand the Los Blancos the win at the Estadio Bernabeu. Later in the game, Madrid was dominant in the game and the second goal came from a penalty to make it 2-0.

Iborra gives the yellow submarine a consolation after scoring at the 83rd minute to make it 2-1.

Osasuna defeated Barcelona at home 2-1 to take Madrid 7 points clear on the table.

The La Liga season ends on 19th July 2020 after which clubs can rest ahead of the European football resumption.

Real Madrid defeated Villarreal as Barcelona lost to Osasuna at home.
