Real Madrid Extend Vinicius Jr's Contract With £1B Release Clause

Real Madrid have retained the services of Brazilian winger Vinicius Jnr for the next 5 years to end speculations of a move to Paris Saint-Germain.

Vinicius who alongside Karim Benzema and Rodrygo Goes led Madrid 's attack to a La Liga and Champions League Double has been rewarded for his efforts with a new contract.

According to Transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano confirmed that Vinicius signed the new deal.

Since his move from Flamengo, Vinicius is gradually becoming one of Europe's elite forward with his runs and trickery.

In the 2021-22 season, Vinicius scored 21 goals with 16 assists across all competitions.

His finishes have improved compared to his debut seasons when he only managed 5 goals and 3 assists in competition.

Aside his finishes, his confidence in a one-be-one situation has also improved under the tutelage of Italian tactician Carlo Ancelotti.

With a five-year deal signed, Vinicius might be set to be another big name in the football world playing at the Santiago Bernabeu.
