Real Madrid's Bale To End Contract By June — Ancelotti

Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti has confirmed that sensational 2013 signing Gareth Bale will leave the Spanish capital club in June after his contract expires.

Bale, 32, who has been plagued with injuries for the past two seasons which led to his loan return to Tottenham in the 2020-21 season will end his current contract in June 2022.

Italian coach Ancelotti has favoured Rodrygo Goes and Vinicius Junior on the wings opting for Marco Asensio sometimes -- has confirmed that the Welsh forward will not renew his contract and will be leaving.

Ahead of Real Madrid's clash against Lionel Messi's Paris Saint-Germain in the UEFA Champions League, Ancelotti could opt for more experience Bale than Rodrygo on the wing.

Bale was used in the goalless draw against Villarreal during the weekend and he could be used again on Tuesday.

With his career twilight drawing near, Ancelotti confirmed that Bale would want to end his career on a high with a La Liga title possibility and even a Champions League glory.

"Bale hasn't disrespected his teammates," Ancelotti said at his pre-match press conference, "He trains well, he's professional.

"He wants to end things here as he deserves to, because he's helped us to win the Champions League and he's done important things. I think finishing things well here would be good for his career."

The Italian is also happy with how Los Blancos' preparations have been going.

"The feelings are all good," Ancelotti said. "We have all the confidence in the world.

"It'll be a difficult game against a tough opponent, against another team with aspirations of winning the Champions League.

"It's a game that could be a final and we want to eliminate a rival for the trophy."
