Real vs Mallorca: Sergio Ramos Hits Back At Pique, Barcelona Over VAR Comment

Real vs Mallorca: Sergio Ramos Hits Back At Pique, Barcelona

Sergio Ramos has hit back at Gerard Pique's comments which suggested Real Madrid were benefitting from Video Assitant Referee (VAR) decisions as earlier reported by AllNews.

The Barcelona defender has recently spoken of how he doesn't think Los Blancos will drop any points before the season is out as both teams go for the title.

"All the noise that is being made is normal," Ramos said after Real Madrid's 2-0 win over Real Mallorca.

"It's made because we're top of the table. There wasn't as much talk before.

"I don't think [the referees] make any predetermined decisions.

"It seems that we have to thank the referees for being top.

"Don't let people make movies."

Ramos scored Real Madrid's second goal against Mallorca and this third in four matches since LaLiga Santander's restart.

"It's an award for persistence, for lots of years of work," he said. "I'm happy."

Despite the victory and the clean sheet, the Real Madrid skipper wasn't entirely satisfied.

"Today the team noticed the fatigue accumulated from matches every three days," Ramos said.

"There are lots of things to improve on.

"We're not happy with the game. They stopped us in some phases.

"You can always give a bit more. Despite the result, we have to know how to kill the game off.

"We have to win possession in the opposition half and have more control over the game."
