Reekado Banks Enlists Fireboy DML For 'Ozumba Mbadiwe' Remix

Reekado Banks has joined forces with Fireboy DML for the remix of his Amanpiano-inspired hit single 'Ozumba Mbadiwe'

The track was produced by talented beatmaker, P. Prime.

The original song 'Ozumba Mbadiwe' was Reekado Banks' comeback after staying away from the music scene for a while.

Released in October 2021, Reekado Banks offers his contribution to the 2020 EndSARS protest, dedicating the track as a way of honoring the one-year memorial of the #Lekki Tollgate Shooting.

Speaking with City FM's Melody Hassan, Reekado Banks revealed that it took him a year to finish and release 'Ozumba Mbadiwe'.

When asked why he chose the title "Ozumba Mbadiwe", the singer stated that it was a reply to a lot of people who had been asking where he was.

According to him, he had been "busy" just like the Ozumba Mbadiwe way, located in Victoria Island, Lagos.
