'Referring To Me As Beautiful Soul Online Is Irony', Wumi Toriola Speaks On Perceived Rift With Seyi Edun

 

Fans of Nollywood stars who knew Wumi Toriola and Seyi Edun were quick to observe their alleged rift on Instagram, as they both were known to always dish out bestie’s goals with series of posts and matching outfits.

However, things took a new turn when it was observed that they hardly speak of each other on social media or dish out friendship goals again.

Their alleged rift had been on before Edun celebrated her birthday on June 4 and some fans were quick to notice it and questioned them but none of them addressed it.

However, Toriola celebrated her birthday on Sunday with a series of congratulatory messages rolling in including that of Edun with a very sharp caption.

On Sunday evening, Toriola took to her Instagram page to reveal her new year resolution, which according to her is “ to undergo fumigation if she smells a rat”

She wrote “So someone asked me what my NEW year Resolution is and I told the Person jokingly that, this new year,I smell a rat, I fumigate”

If we are cool, awww bless God,if there is a rift,i show my displease,i show my hurt and i don’t play the victim.

In another post on Monday, Toriola shared screenshots of her messages with Edun, while alleging that she did not get an offline message from her ally.

The mother of one also slammed Edun for portraying her as a beautiful soul on Instagram which is an irony.

She wrote “This is me offline on her birthday wishing her happy birthday... As for me,i didn’t not get anything on my birthday. Yet ,i had a beautiful celebration..Coming on line to refer me to a “beautiful soul “online is an irony . My new beginning has stopped playing such social media games.. Let all the calls ,messages and insult stop now, some of us have life away from social Media. This is just one of mine, live yours.. Its all love from this end...Good morning”
