Relationship between Oyetola, Omisore remains cordial — Os

The Osun State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has clarified that the relationship between Adegboyega Oyetola and Iyiola Omisore is cordial.

Oyetola is the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy while Omisore is the former APC National Secretary is cordial.

The clarification became necessary after series of rumours that there was strained relationship between the pair.

This was contained in a statement issued by the party's Director of Media and Information, Kola Olabisi and made available to AllNews.ng on Monday in Osogbo.

Lawal who stated that the aim of the fabricators of the story was not achieved added that it was the intention of the sponsors and writers of the story to cause disharmony, friction and cataclysm in the state APC.

"We can see that Alhaji Oyetola, Senator Omisore and Senator Ajibola Basiru, the current National Secretary of the APC, have been the causes of sleepless nights for the political traitors who have been hitting the party below the belt for selfish reasons.

"Let me use this platform to inform the emissaries of rifts that they have lost out completely as the Osun State APC and our certified leaders are belonging to the same page.

"As for the loss of the last series of elections by our party in the state, it would be arrogant and uncharitable for any individual or a group of people to arrogate to themselves that they were the reasons the elections went the way that didn't favour our party.

"My advice for the purveyors of conjectured stories about the genuine leaders of our party in the state is to inform them that the metaphorical reptile of yesterday has since shifted its base and nothing could prevent the realization of the collective aspiration of the members of the party through the 2026 elections," Lawal assured.
