Nigerian singer Rema has opened up about how he felt when American rapper Kendrick Lamar followed him on Instagram.
The ‘Humble’ hitmaker is currently following 65 people on the photo-sharing app and Rema is one of them.
In a recent interview on American radio station HOT 97, Rema said he captured a screenshot as evidence and sent it to all his friends to let them know that Kendrick is listening to his music.
He jokingly added that now he has to be careful with the music he puts out.
“A few weeks ago, when Kendrick Lamar followed me. He follows like 60-something people. That is different.
"I was like what? I screenshotted and sent it to all my friends like it's crazy.
"Kendrick is listening to me. I have to be careful what I put out,” Rema said.
