Rema paid $3 million to perform at India's richest man son’s wedding

Award-winning singer Rema has reportedly been paid a whopping $ 3 million to perform at the wedding ceremony of the son of India's richest man, Mukesh Ambani. 

The ‘Calm Down’ hitmaker is scheduled to perform at the wedding of Anant Ambani, son of Asia’s wealthiest man and Radhika Merchant, daughter of pharmaceutical magnates.

Rema foreshadowed his arrival on Instagram, posting a video of himself boarding a private jet dressed in stylish all-black. The post, featuring is song ‘Azaman’ and an Indian flag emoji, hinted at the excitement to come.

The wedding, set for July 12 at Mumbai’s Jio World Centre, is the grand final of a months-long celebration by the Ambani family.

Rema’s performance costs an estimated $3 million for his chart-topping hit ‘Calm Down’. He’s in good company, with Justin Bieber reportedly earning $10 million for his visit, while pop icon Rihanna has already graced the event with her presence.

This four-day extravaganza isn’t just a musical spectacle. The guest list reads like a who’s who of global influencers, blending entertainment royalty with political powerhouses.

Reality TV star Kim Kardashian is expected to rub shoulders with former world leaders, including ex-UK Prime Ministers Boris Johnson and Tony Blair, as well as former US Secretary of State John Kerry.
