Rema's ‘Calm Down’ Music Video Hits New Record

Four months after its release, Rema's ‘Calm Down’ music video has surpassed 70 million views on YouTube.

This places it as the fastest Nigerian music video to reach such figures.

Rema released 'Calm Down' on February 11 as the fourth track on his debut album titled 'Rave And Roses' and serves as a follow-up to his hit release 'Soungasm'.

In May, it made a groundbreaking appearance on Shazam as it held the number one spot as the most shazamed song in France.

It also held the number 15 position on the Global 200 most shazamed songs chart.

Recently, Rema set a new record on the Spotify Nigeria Album Chart since it was introduced in 2022 with his debut album ‘Rave & Roses.’

His debut album ‘Rave & Roses’ returned to the number one position on the Spotify Nigeria Weekly Album Chart taking his total tally of weeks at number one on the chart to nine weeks which is the highest for any artist since the Spotify Nigeria chart was introduced in 2022.
