In the first 24 hours after being premiered, the video garnered precisely 3.333,043 million views on YouTube, displacing Davido who previously held the record with his smashing hit song ‘Fem’, which gathered 3 million views on YouTube in the first 24 hours.
As of the time of this write-up, the music video has garnered over 5.7 million views.
Rema released 'Calm Down' on February 11 as the fourth track on his debut album titled 'Rave And Roses' and serves as a follow-up to his hit release 'Soungasm'.
In May, it made a groundbreaking appearance on Shazam as it held the number one spot as the most shazamed song in France.
It also held the number 15 position on the Global 200 most shazamed songs chart.
Four months after its release, Rema's ‘Calm Down’ music video surpassed 70 million views on YouTube, placing it as the fastest Nigerian music video to reach such a figure.
