Rema's Debut Album ‘Rave And Roses’ Crosses One Billion

Rema's debut album ‘Rave And Roses’ has grossed over one billion streams across music streaming platforms.

He was presented with the plaque at his 02 Academy Brixton show in London.

Turning to the audience, he said; “This is for you. This belongs to you. You deserve it. Fucking one billion streams. Fuck look how far I came.

“I wanna say thank you for your support, for your love. Thank you so much for believing in my crazy ideas, my crazy sound,” he continued.

“First day I came out, a lot of people laughed at me. They said I was too different.

“They said my sound was Indian and whatever they called it. But each and every one of you in this room believed in that Indian sound.

“And now look at this boy, fucking international star.”

He went on to appreciate his team,  his record label boss Don Jazzy, D'Prince and his frequent producer London for believing in his crazy ideas.
