Remo Stars Will Strive To Win NPFL Super Six, Says Ogunmodede

Remo Stars manager Daniel Ogunmodede has said that his side will strive to win the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) Super Six playoffs.

The Sky Blue Stars qualified for the Super Six after finishing in the top 3 of Group A of the abridged league format.

They will compete against Bendel Insurance, Enyimba International, Rivers United, Lobi Stars and Sunshine Stars.

“We are going to Lagos to battle and strive to win the NPFL Super 6,” the young tactician told the club’s media.

“We are ready for all the teams.”

The Interim Management Committee (IMC) had announced that the Super Six will take place at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena in Lagos from June 3 to June 11 to decide the champions of the 2022/2023 NPFL season.

In a statement, the IMC said: “The clubs were informed that the official arrival date in Lagos is June 1, while the draw and technical meeting to brief the clubs on the rules for the play-off will hold on June 2.

“The play-off, also dubbed the Super Six, is scheduled to hold from June 3 to June 11, 2023.”
