Reps Tell FG To Return £4.2m Ibori Loot To Delta State

The House of Representatives on Wednesday called on the Federal Government to ensure that the £4.2million looted by the former Governor of Delta State, James Ibori, should be returned to his state.

The lawmaker maintained that the funds were stolen from Delta State and as such, should rightly be returned to the state. They argued that the funds were needed for the infrastructure development of the state.

This resolution was reached after a motion of urgent public importance was sponsored by all the lawmakers from Delta State.
