Residents Panic As Flooding Disrupts Activities In Sagamu

Some residents of Sagamu in Ogun State are in turmoil after heavy rainfall caused flooding in the region.

The heavy rainfall occurred on Thursday, March 16, 2023, and the Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NIMET) had forecast that the level of rainfall in 2023 would surpass that of 2022.

Eyewitnesses stated that despite the fact that no life was lost, the flooding disconnected some parts of the town and rendered mobility impossible.

Business owners also added that their business was negatively impacted as a result of the downpour.

The residents of the affected part of the town called on the Ogun State Government to come to their aid and rehabilitate and repair the dilapidated roads in other to forestall another round of flooding.
