The Super Falcons ended their seven games winless streak with a win over Costa Rica in the final fixture at the 2023 Revelation Cup in Mexico.
Randy Waldrum's side won the game 1-0 at the León Stadium in the early hours of Wednesday.
Esther Okoronkwo scored the only goal of the game on the stroke of halftime.
Her goal handed the Super Falcons their first win in the competition having lost their first two games to hosts Mexico and Colombia.

The victory also earned the Super Falcons a third-place finish in the four-nation tournament.
The Super Falcons' participation in the Revelation Cup was part of preparations for the 2023 FIFA women's World Cup which will take place in Australia and New Zealand this summer.
Nigeria is drawn in Group B with Australia, Canada and the Republic of Ireland.
