#RevolutionNow: Top Biafra Supporter Picks 'Only Man' Who's Best Fit For Campaign

The Special Counsel to Nigerian Biafra political activist, Nnamdi Kanu and the outlawed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Aloy Ejimakor says only his self-exiled client possess the mass following to make a revolution happen in Nigeria, AllNews reports.

Members of the #RevolutionNow movement, convened by Omoyele Sowore, a  pro-democracy campaigner, demanding good governance had on Wednesday protested in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Lagos, Ondo, Osun, and Ogun states.

Ejimakor via his known Twitter handle on Friday claimed that 'the government of Nigeria knows the formidability of Kanu'.

"The ideal behind #RevolutionNow is good. But the truth is that @YeleSowore lacks the mass following to make it happen. For now, the ONLY man in Nigeria who possesses such following (in millions) is @MaziNnamdiKanu & the government of Nigeria knows it, and fears it," Ejimakor wrote.

Controversial Kanu is the latest in a line of ethnic Igbo activists taking up the cause of pushing for an independent state, saying the Igbos have been marginalised by successive Nigerian governments.

The Nigerian government is averse to IPOB's demand though, saying the nation is indivisible.
