She has now joined the ranks of Oprah Winfrey as one of the world's wealthiest performers, with her net worth now estimated to be $1.7 billion (most of it coming from her cosmetics line Fenty Beauty according to the publication)
The singer-turned-entrepreneur created Fenty Beauty in 2017 in collaboration with luxury goods behemoth LVMH. From brushes and blushes to lipsticks, the brand now offers everything under the sun in the world of cosmetics.
Rihanna
At the time of its launch, Rihanna called beauty her passion project in a speech saying, "I don't think (anyone) in this building is as excited as I am today."
Forbes believes that $1.4 billion of her net worth comes from Fenty Beauty and $270 million from her lingerie line Savage X Fenty, with the remainder coming from her music and acting careers, according to the business magazine.
