Rihanna's Boyfriend A$AP Rocky Arrested

American rapper A$AP Rocky and boyfriend to popular Barbados singer, Rihanna has been arrested in Sweden in connection with a shooting that took place in 2021.

The soon-to-be dad was arrested at the Los Angeles airport on Wednesday, April 20, 2022, upon his arrival from the much talked about trip to Rihanna's home country, Barbados.

On April 15, Rihanna, aged 34, and Rocky, aged 33, were photographed arm-in-arm arriving at the airport in Barbados, according to photos obtained by TMZ.

According to PageSix, he was taken into custody and charged with assault with a deadly weapon.

The rapper is under investigation by the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) for his alleged involvement in a November 6, 2021 shooting.

The police said, “two acquaintances” escalated and resulted in the suspect firing a handgun at the victim. Following the shooting, the suspect and two additional males fled the scene on foot.

Authorities later identified the rapper as the suspect.

The rapper was previously arrested in Sweden in 2019 after running into trouble with the law. He was arrested for his involvement in a public fight with some alleged drug addicts.

In an interview, he described his time in prison as a “very difficult and humbling experience.”

Rocky and his girlfriend Rihanna are expecting their first child together.
