RMD Responds To Criticism Over Wife's Decision To Give Up Fame For Him [Video]

Veteran Nollywood actor Richard Mofe-Damijo has responded after he was criticized over his wedding anniversary statement.

Recall that on December 21, Mofe-Damiijo and his wife Jumobi celebrated their 21st wedding anniversary.

While eulogizing her on his Instagram page, RMD described Jumobi as strong and courageous for giving up her fame to make her family home.

However, a lot of people flocked to his comment section with the opinion that women are the only ones who give up their dreams for their husbands.

Responding to this, RMD in a video on his Instagram page disclosed that his wife made up her mind before they got married that she does not want to be in the public eye and she needed a timeout to raise her family.

He added that Jumobi only gave up fame and is very successful in the corporate world.

The 60-year-old actor concluded by advising women not to give up their dream if they do not want to. According to him, nobody should be forced to do that for a marriage to work.
