Rochas Okorocha: Charly Boy Weighs In On Former Governor's Arrest

Nigerian singer and songwriter Charles Oputa, better known as Charly Boy, has reacted to the arrest of Rochas Okorocha by operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

The former Imo State Governor was apprehended on Tuesday and a video posted online shows the moment agents of the anti-graft agency broke into his residence through the ceiling.

Commenting on the arrest, Charly Boy via his official Twitter account stated that even though he can't stand Okorocha and other politicians, what the EFCC did to him was wrong.

The controversial singer stated that such development happens only in Nigeria.

"There is no love lost between me and Rochas Okorocha, I cant stand him along with most Nigerian Politicians. But dis is wrong, dis is jungle. No be the same Efcc we know.

"What’s all dis kinda over-gallantry. Only in Nigeria", Charly Boy wrote.
