Rocket League Sideswipe Now On iOS, Android

The mobile game, 'Rocket League Sideswipe' the popular console and PC game has been rolled out to iOS and Android users worldwide expanding its audience via new platforms.

Developer Psyonix announced the rollout of Rocket League Sideswipe for Android and iOS users across the globe on Twitter.

The sideswipe game was introduced earlier in March as a mobile, 2D version of Rocket League that allows gamers to play solo or team with friends for two vs. two matches.

Sideswipe is all about that car soccer life, but with a 2D side-on instead of a 3D view. It has a ranking system and numerous car customization options. It also uses touch controls designed to be easy to master, with advanced control mechanics available for better players.

With an Epic Games account, gamers can gain access to online matches that will let them earn extra XP across both the regular Rocket League game and Sideswipe. The game launched in pre-season in Oceania to shake out any bugs, but it's now available to everyone on the iOS App Store and Google Play and it is free on mobile with in-app purchases for Rocket Pass and cosmetics.
