Rockets Hit US Base In Syria

Two rockets struck a base housing American troops in Syria on Wednesday, the US military said.

No one claimed responsibility for the attack.

The Iran-backed militia is based nearby as are sleeper cells of ISIS that were defeated in Syria in March 2019.

The Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has said the rockets were fired by Arab tribesmen in the region who are armed by Iran.

Also, Joe Buccino, spokesman for US Central Command, in a statement; “Attacks of this kind place Coalition Forces and the civilian populace at risk and undermine the hard-earned stability and security of Syria and the region.”

Members of the US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces visited the rocket origin site and found a third that was not fire.

Syria has been reeking of terrorism from different terror groups, with the presence of Daesh terrorists in Syria in recent months.

Terrorist members have been found in enormous groups in Hatay.

Daesh has reportedly killed over 300 people, with hundreds more injured in the country.
