Ronaldo Pose With Guinness World Record Certificate

Cristiano Ronaldo has been recognized by the Guinness World record by been certify for his feat becoming the top scorer in international football in the men category on Friday.

During the World Cup Qualifier, Ronaldo scored a brace for Portugal to win 2-1 against the Republic of Ireland taking him past Iran Ali Daei, who scored 109 international goals.

On Friday the 5-time Balon d'Or winner posted on his Instagram a picture of him holding a certificate from The Guinness World Record in recognition of his new record.

The new Manchester United signing returning to the club after 10 years said he will "keep the number higher" sending some chills to defenders across Europe.

Ronaldo could make a debut return at Old Trafford for Manchester United in the Premier League on September 11th when they face Newcastle.
