Ronaldo Extends Goal Tally In Al-Nassr's Win Over Al-Shabab

Cristiano Ronaldo took his Saudi Pro League tally to five goals in two games as Al-Nassr sealed a 4-0 win over Al Shabab on Tuesday night.

The Portuguese opened the scoring from the spot on 12 minutes, with his effort finding the bottom right corner.

He was then denied a second minutes later after his bullet-like header was disallowed for the lightest of pushes on his marker.

The lead was eventually doubled by Ronaldo when Al-Nassr were awarded a second penalty on 38 minutes.

Ronaldo then turned provider, assisting former Liverpool and Bayern Munich forward Sadio Mane to finish coolly and make it 3-0 just before the break.

The five-time Ballon d'Or winner should have hit a hat-trick after the break, but he passed up the opportunity for a hat-trick of penalty kicks when deferring to teammate Abdulrahman Ghareeb, who missed his effort.

He later came close to a second-straight treble when his header struck the post, but Sultan Al-Ghannam converted the rebound in the 79th minute to round off the scoring.

Al Nassr are now down in sixth after losing their opening two games, six points behind leaders Al-Ittihad.
