Ronaldo Insists On Not Chasing Records In Saudi Arabia

Cristiano Ronaldo has insisted that he is not hellbent on chasing records in the Saudi Pro League.

The Portuguese superstar made this known after Al-Nassr beat Al-Duhail 4-3 in the AFC Champions League on Tuesday night.

Ronaldo scored a second-half brace on the night while Anderson Talisca and Sadio Mane were also on target.

“Actually, I don't care about records," said the five-time Ballon d'Or winner when asked about his last night’s performance and his ambition to continue chasing records.

"I enjoy my time with Al Nassr, and we are working to be the strongest and best team.”

Ronaldo joined Al-Nassr in January following his unceremonious exit from Manchester United, and since then has been the club's talisman.

He has registered 14 goals and contributed seven assists in 13 appearances for the Saudi Arabian outfit across different competitions.
