Ronaldo Nets Incredible Free Kick To Inspire Al Nassr Comeback Win

A thunderous effort unleashed by Cristiano Ronaldo was enough to inspire a comeback win for Al Nassr in the Saudi Pro League.

Al Nassr fought back from 1-0 down to beat Abha 2-1 on Saturday night.

Abdulfattah Adam opened the scoring for visiting Abha in the 26th minute to give his side the lead in the first half.

But the hosts pulled themselves back on level terms via a well executed Ronaldo free-kick from 35-yard in the 79th minute to turn the game on its head.

Goalkeeper Devis Epassy had no chance to stop the ball from going in as the 38-year-old hit the ball with power and precision to net his 59th career free-kick.

With four minutes left to end the match, Al Nassr sealed victory as Anderson Talisca scored from the spot after Ronaldo allowed him to take the crucial penalty.

The result means that Al Nassr are just one point behind title rivals Al-ittihad who beat Ronaldo's side 1-0 to move to the summit of the table.
