Ronaldo's Penalty Sends Al-Nassr Into Final Of Arab Club Cha

Cristiano Ronaldo's second-half penalty kick has sent Al Nassr into the final of the Arab Club Champions Cup.

The Saudi Arabian club sealed a 1-0 win over Iraqi champions Al-Shorta SC in the semi-finals of the tournament on Wednesday.

Al Nassr were on the front foot at Saudi Arabia's Prince Sultan bin Abdul Aziz Stadium but were unable to break the deadlock in the opening period, though Ronaldo had a goal disallowed following a close offside call.

The scoring was eventually opened in the 75th minute when a VAR review found that Sadio Mane was brought down inside the penalty box by Faisal Jasim Nafil Al Manaa.

Ronaldo was on hand to convert from 12 yards and made no mistake to seal the deal for his first final since moving to the club in January.

The goal was his fourth in successive games in the competition.

Al Nassr will next face either Al-Hilal or Al-Shabab in the final on Saturday.
