Aryna Sabalenka, the newest Grand Slam champion, is ready to continue building on her success as she heads into the Dubai Duty-Free Tennis Championships.

Sabalenka, who claimed her maiden Grand Slam title at the Australian Open last month, said that her major win has given her more motivation to work even harder and to achieve more. The 24-year-old had previously suffered three semifinal defeats at the majors but finally rallied to beat Wimbledon champion Elena Rybakina in the final.

In an interview, Sabalenka revealed that her win had changed her mindset but she would not become complacent. She said, "I still have to prove every time on the court that I'm in the right place." Sabalenka also admitted that she has more motivation to work hard and to feel successful again.

The world number eight who is currently unbeaten in 11 matches, will face either Jill Teichmann or Anastasia Potapova in the Dubai second round.

Despite receiving a bye, Sabalenka is not too focused on the draw and prefers to take it to step by step. She acknowledged that tennis has improved a lot, and any opponent can beat anyone regardless of their ranking.

Sabalenka's hard work and determination have paid off, and she is now in a great position to continue her success in the coming months. With her strong mindset and desire to improve, Sabalenka has become a force to be reckoned with in the tennis world.
