Manchester United's new signing Marcel Sabitzer is ready to play against Crystal Palace on Saturday, Erik ten Hag has confirmed.
Sabitzer arrived on loan until the end of the season from Bayern Munich on transfer deadline day.
United opted to bring him to Old Trafford as their need for a midfielder intensified after Christian Eriksen was ruled out with an ankle injury until at least April, with Donny van de Beek unavailable for the rest of the season and Scott McTominay out for a few weeks.
"Of course, he did only one session but you can see he's a very fit player," he said in his press conference.
"And I didn't have different expectations coming from Bayern Munich.
"I think he is ready to play and I think he's a really smart player.
"And I think we gave him some guidance but he knows what to do, he knows the job."
