Marcel Sabitzer
In a recent update from Old Trafford, Manchester United announced that midfielder Marcel Sabitzer will be sidelined for the remainder of the season due to a meniscal injury.
Sabitzer, who joined the club on loan from Bayern Munich in January, missed the team's recent 2-0 victory against Wolverhampton Wanderers as a result of a knee complaint.

The 29-year-old Austrian international has played a significant role in Manchester United's 2022/23 campaign, making 18 appearances and scoring three goals. His notable contributions include a cheeky backheel goal against Fulham in the Emirates FA Cup quarter-final and a double in the Europa League first-leg clash against Sevilla.
Sabitzer also played a part in the team's Carabao Cup triumph over Newcastle United, earning a winner's medal. Additionally, he displayed his composure by converting one of the penalties during the FA Cup semi-final shootout victory against Brighton & Hove Albion.
The news of Sabitzer's injury comes as a disappointment to Manchester United, as they aim to finish the season strongly in the Premier League and FA Cup.
However, the club remains optimistic with the return of Christian Eriksen, who has regained regular playing time, and Raphael Varane, who made a successful comeback over the weekend after a recent lay-off. Furthermore, Alejandro Garnacho made a noteworthy return from an ankle injury, sealing the victory against Wolverhampton Wanderers with a late goal.
