Sagamu-Ijebu-Ode Road Blocked As Truck Crashes

The Ogun Sector Command of the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC) has announced that the Sagamu-Ijebu-Ode expressway has been blocked.

This is as it also informed that the blockade was caused as a result of a truck crashing on the Ososa bridge, along the Sagamu/Ijebu-Ode expressway, Ogun State.

The Sector Command spokesperson, Florence Okpe also stated that efforts were ongoing to remove the obstruction and added that the accident has affected the free flow of traffic on the outward and entire sections of the road.

"This is to inform the motoring public on the traffic situation along Sagamu – Ijebu-Ode expressway on Ososa bridge.

"The situation is as a result of the crash that occurred this morning involving a truck that crashed and blocked the entire section of the expressway and the outward section of the expressway is also affected.

"FRSC operatives are fully on the ground managing the traffic situation.

"Effort is ongoing to remove the obstruction from the road for free flow of traffic.

"Motorists are advised to drive cautiously and cooperate with traffic managers managing the situation," she stated.
