Saint Francis Catholic Church Celebrates First Mass After Attack

The first mass has been celebrated at the Saint Francis Catholic Church, Owo, Ondo State.

It is the first mass since the June 2022 attack on the church.

On June 5, 2022, the church was viciously attacked as the congregation was having its Thanksgiving service.

The attack left at least 40 worshippers dead with others injured.

The Ondo State Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu had after the attack promised to bring the perpetrators to book.
