Mohamed Salah struck twice to earn Liverpool a 2-0 win over Everton in Saturday's Merseyside derby.
The opening period was pretty much quiet though Everton were reduced to 10 men when Ashley Young was sent off for two bookable offences in the 37th minute.
That piled pressure on the Toffees in the second half and they fell behind on 75 minutes when Salah emphatically converted a penalty after a handball by Michael Keane.
Then, in injury time, Salah scored again to close out the match, sweeping home after good work by Darwin Nunez.
The win ends Liverpool's run of two games without a win and moves Liverpool to the top of the Premier League table, however briefly.
