As the Nigerian entertainment industry continues to mourn the death of popular gospel singer Sammie Okposo, the cause of his untimely demise has been revealed.
Okposo breathed his last on Friday. November 25 and it was reported that he passed on after slumping suddenly.
According to the late singer's colleague, Righteousman, Okposo was being treated for exhaustion before his death.

While describing the artiste's death as tragic, Righteousman disclosed that Okposo had also collapsed last week after returning from his praise party concert in the United Kingdom.
He shared that the 'Welu Welu' crooner was a workaholic who hardly found time to rest despite his busy schedule.
"We should learn to take time to rest. Sammie Okposo was always working. I will personally miss him.
"He was a great singer who influenced a lot of young Nigerian gospel singers. I know how much I love his music. He served God and not man", Righteousman stated.
