Chef Hilda Baci’s Guinness World Record cooking attempt received a boost on Sunday as Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu paid a special visit to the venue of the cook-a-thon, Amore Garden in Lekki, to celebrate and commend the talented chef.
Governor Sanwo-Olu arrived at the venue, accompanied by a team of officials, to show his support for the young chef’s feat.
Hilda Baci’s attempt to break the world record for the longest time spent cooking is a significant event, and the governor’s presence served to inspire an outpouring of encouragement and support for her.
According to reports, Baci will cook for four days to break the current record held by Lata Tondon, who spent 87 hours, 45 minutes, and 00 seconds cooking in Rewa, India, in 2019.
As of the time of this report, she has less than 15 hours to reach the 90-hour mark.
In addition to Governor Sanwo-Olu, several celebrities, including Dremo and Eni Oluwa, have visited Baci to show their support for her.
