Recall, Burna Boy was called out on Twitter for staying silent during the course of the ongoing protest despite calling the youths cowards.

In a tweet on his verified Twitter handle, he said that he had taken the past weeks to gather his thoughts and have deliberately chosen not to respond with emotions and frustration like he would have done.
The ‘Odogwu’ crooner also revealed that he has created a sub-fund called @projectprotectng under his charity, The Reach, to cater for protesters who got injured, harmed or arrested by SARS officials during and after the protest.
He, however, commended the protesters for exercising their right to assemble and fight for justice and their freedom.
